Using Marie’s experience and limitless talent, combined with our pool of musicians and pre/post-production resources, we can create a tailored music piece to complement any style of project.

Using Marie Wilson’s local and international music industry experience, Kangaroo Music was created to promote local performers, and to give Australian businesses direct access to the pool of untapped home-grown talent, both signed and unsigned. We are your door to license-ready Aussie music.
Songwriting workshops
Experience the power of creating a song – one that is uniquely yours, and speaks directly to your audience. Not only will you end up with a highly effective tool for engaging with your audience, you and your team will have a fantastic experience working closely with an established talent and witnessing before your eyes the magic that is the creation of a song.
In this workshop, you are about to experience the power of creating a song. You could liken it to planting a seed and nurturing it so that it is able to grow.
The process
1. Conduct a 2 hour workshop with your team to construct 2 options for your chosen piece
2. You get a demo of each option to choose your preferred direction – you can provide feedback on all aspects of the piece including lyrics, music, tempo and style
3. You choose the final title (we’ll provide suggestions)
4. Once completed, you will be issued a “birth certificate” with terms and conditions of use

Marie Wilson, or any of our stable of musicians, can perform at your next event and ensure it’s a success. Performance ideas include:
• Performance of your own song – ‘christen’ your original composition with a live performance to truly make it real for your audience
• National anthem – elevate your event with a professional, top-quality performance of the national anthem
• Your own selection of songs – you tell us what you want played, or let us suggest the perfect mix of tunes to suit your occasion
